COMMON QUESTIONS ANSWERED
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Is there any obligation to use your services?
NO. Zero obligation. A lot of people just want a second opinion on what they already have. Once they see the plan, most find real value in it, but that's completely up to you. Book a no-pressure consultation and see for yourself.
2. What is the process?
Get in touch and we'll set up a meeting, in person or remote, whatever works. We'll walk you through what we can do. If it makes sense for you, we gather some details to put together a personalized plan, then go over it together.
3. Are you regulated?
Financial services in Ontario and Canada are strictly regulated. All associates must be licensed and follow a strict code of conduct under FSRA (Financial Services Regulatory Authority of Ontario). Learn more about our team.
4. Will this cost me anything?
Our service itself is complimentary. If you see the value in our products we often find plans that can save our clients money and provide same or better benefits. View our full list of financial planning services.
5. What services do you offer?
We offer life insurance, mortgage protection, travel insurance, savings plans (RRSPs, TFSAs), debt elimination, and estate planning. As a brokerage, we shop the market to find what works best for your situation.
6. What areas do you serve?
We're based in Kitchener/Waterloo and serve all of Ontario. Meetings can be in person or remote, whatever works for you. Contact us to set something up.
7. Why should I choose a brokerage instead of going directly to an insurance company?
As a brokerage, we are not tied to any single insurance company. This means we can compare products from multiple providers to find the best coverage and rates for your situation. A single insurance company can only offer you their own products.
8. How often should I review my financial plan?
At least once a year, or after big life changes like getting married, having kids, buying a home, or switching jobs. We'll sit down with you to review things and make updates.
